Your Opportunity

Imagine the property above being able to produce even more fruits and vegetables than it ever has in the past. Utilizing every square foot of this property to produce food to feed hungry americans with food like the picture below. You can help make this possible and I will explain later in this article.

Would you like to help feed the hungry but would rather not donate money for fear it would not be used correctly? The Lighthouse Food Farm has designed a new program just for you. We have already began a program called Permaculture that will utilize otherwise dormant land that is too steep to work which would cause land errosion. However Permaculture can easily utilize this land and produce very well. What is Permaculture you ask? Permaculture is the investment that keeps on giving.
Please read the next couple of paragraphs for a more thorough explanation of Permaculture, thanks to WikiPedia.
Permaculture is an approach to designing human settlements and agricultural systems that are modeled on the relationships found in natural ecologies.
Permaculture is sustainable land use design. This is based on ecological and biological principles, often using patterns that occur in nature to maximise effect and minimise work. Permaculture aims to create stable, productive systems that provide for human needs, harmoniously integrating the land with its inhabitants. The ecological processes of plants, animals, their nutrient cycles, climatic factors and weather cycles are all part of the picture. Inhabitants’ needs are provided for using proven technologies for food, energy, shelter and infrastructure. Elements in a system are viewed in relationship to other elements, where the outputs of one element become the inputs of another. Within a Permaculture system, work is minimized, “wastes” become resources, productivity and yields increase, and environments are restored. Permaculture principles can be applied to any environment, at any scale from dense urban settlements to individual homes, from farms to entire regions.
Since 2003, we began a Permaculture program, before we knew it was called Permaculture. This program has already been very successful. We added blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, grapes and muscadines to the farm.
This year, we have added six Brown Turkey Fig Trees, that was planted on Monday March 14, 2011. Now we have lots more room to plant trees, berries and grapes.
This is where you come in play. Rather than donating money, which we still need to operate the farm. However, if you would rather purchase a couple of trees or items that are Permaculture that will continue to feed the hungry for years, this is a perfect way to do it.
You could join us permanently on the farm by purchasing trees or what ever we have listed below from the links by ordering and having them shipped here to the farm or purchasing them from your favorite supplier doing the same… shipping them directly to the farm. I have made a list below with the quantity neded, that will work very well in our zone (7) with the best prices I could find for the best quality plant that I am sure will drop ship to our farm for you.

In my opinion, the beauty of Permaculture is that the farm will produce food to help feed hungry americans even if there isn’t any fuel to operate the tractor. We will still have plenty of room for fresh vegetables to be grown each year and for our winter crop of greens as well. Which will make us much more productive and give us the ability to feed thousands more people that are in need of food here in America. Make your contribution to the farm’s Permaculture and your money will continue to reproduce and feed the hungry, maximizing your efforts and hard earned money.
Please let us know if you make an order by using our “Contact Us” page here. This will allow us to have everything ready for delivery and get the plant in the ground immediately upon receipt. We will try to make a video to put on YouTube as we plant the Permaculture you send. Not mentioning names but showing the actually plants that are planted that will be well cared for and will help feed the hungry.
Thank you for your most valuable time to read and see our new Permaculture needs. For those that would like to make a monetary donation, I have added the information below that will make that very easy to do.
Join me now and let’s make a real difference in peoples lives that need our help now! Even if it is $5.00 per month, I can take that amount and multiply it many times to produce food to feed hungry Americans. We only need five hundred people to donate $5.00 per month to operate this farm properly. If we can get more than that, we can and will grow the farm to help even more people in need.
You can choose the amount of donation below with the drop down window of the Green monthly donation below or if you prefer, do the donation each month manually with the Gold Donate button below.
Please, won’t you partner with us in 2012 with a financial gift today of whatever amount you can share? As you think about the miracles that will happen all year long because of your generosity, your heart will be filled with joy.
What are you waiting for, Get into Action Now, together we can and will make a difference. Thank you for helping us Feed Hungry Americans.
