We Love God and We Love Jesus Christ, God’s son. We Trust God to supply our needs and we know that God uses many of you, companies and individuals, to help provide our needs, therefore, we believe in you as well. The Lighthouse Food Farm is a standalone Christian Agency and is depending upon many companies and individuals like you to help with this greatly needed work that serves thousand of hungry Americans.

First I want to thank you for taking time to read this, it means that you are interested in what we do to help feed hungry Americans that have no other alternative to get help. Sometimes our system fails people that are willing to work and pull themselves back up. The help we provide gives them the incentive to continue trying and good nutrition while they do so.

So in short, We give a Hand Up… not a Hand Out. See how important your Help can be, by reading below.

We have been doing this for the past seven years now because God called me to do so. We have put our life savings into the farm, along with contributions from many good people across the country and from other countries as well to make this farm successful. Unfortunately our savings have depleted and we are going to have to ask for some help from you. 

We do not ask for a salary of any money for that matter for our labor. Our labor is given freely because God called us to do this mission. Many people do not understand why we do this, let me assure you that it is a calling from God and we care about people. We have dedicated our land and labor for life for God’s Work. 

I will list items that are needed so you will understand why we need donations of money to operate. 

• Maintenance for the tractor like oil changes, hydraulic filters and tires
• Diesel Fuel for the tractor – Tires for Tractor as needed
• Belts, Tines for Tillers, and Tires for other equipment
• Antifreeze for all vehicles and antifreeze for tractor tires for better traction for tractor
• Tube Grease to keep equipment greased helping make the equipment last longer
• Oil changes for the trucks, tillers and zero turn mower
• Gasoline to operate the trucks, tillers and zero turn mower
• Phone Service and Internet Service for communication and to operate our web sites
• Electricity for the Irrigation System and Office
• Office Supplies, paper, printer ink, etc to allow us to keep accurate records
• Tires for the delivery vehicles
• Fertilizer, seeds for spring crops and winter crops
• Bottled water for our volunteers as they help us harvest the crops
• Water for office since it is on city water
• Replacement of hand tools as they wear out or break
• Planting soil and pots as we grow our plants from Non GMO Seeds
• Purchasing Manures as we operate a totally organic farm 
• Purchasing Mulch Yearly that we need to take care of our blueberry plants, grapes, raspberries, strawberries and muscadines
• This doesn’t begin to cover all the costs of operating the food farm but should give you an ideal why we need operating capital
