Lighthouse Food Farm -Feeding Hungry Americans - 864-647-2084

We are a Nonprofit Organization, we grow fresh fruits and vegetables that we donate to Hungry Americans. All fruits and vegetables are organically grown. We grow fruits and vegetables during the spring. In the fall and winter we grow Turnip Greens, Collards, Curly Mustard and Kale. We donate the fresh fruits and vegetables to soup kitchens, food banks, food shelves and individual Family’s that have fallen through the cracks of our system.

How You Can Help with Our Immediate Needs for the Farm

1.) Our tractor that we have used for the last five years has worn out and broke down. The parts needed are not available to repair this tractor. We were fortunate that one of our contributors was able to loan us their tractor this past spring in order to help us continue operating the Lighthouse Food Farm.

2.) Since we have installed our irrigation system, the huge manure truck that use to fertilize our farm can not enter the farmed land without damaging the irrigation system due to it’s weight and size. This has caused a need for a smaller more manageable Manure Spreader to prepare our farm for the next spring planting of fruits and vegetables.

See information below on the items that are needed. If you would like to contribute to the Tractor and/or Manure Spreader Funds, there are Special Widgets below the pictures specifically for these needs.
